All you need to know about business cards graphic design-part 1
The design of the business card is often the biggest problem most business owners face in creating their cards.
Here you will find helpful information on a proper business card.
Compare the design of your card with others
Before final printing, try to see your colleagues’ business cards or even of other professions. There may be some changes you would like to do.
But if you think your card stand out from the rest and you’re already happy with your Graphic Design, then this is the time you can to continue printing.
Make sure that your name, your contact information (phone, fax number, telephone and email address), the address of your office, your company name and logo of your company (if any) should be in the professional card. These are the basic things that your customers would like to learn.
Include all important information on your business cards
Many times, perhaps due to excitement, many forget to include important information in their professional card. If the color is something that concerns you much do not trust your monitor or the printer your office. Visit a professional graphic designer to do a final sample of your business card.
Avoid non-traditional sizes
Any size that won’t fit properly in a wallet Card Case is very quickly discarded.
Avoid using your photo on your business card unless this is necessary for your profession
E.g. Actor, Journalist etc. use a picture if possible.
Handing customers a business card with your name and phone number is the same as giving them a piece of paper you just wrote these details. So why not include a picture? This could help customers remember your face. Or you can use a different image that shows the type of your business.
Apart from certain professions try to avoid any kind of calligraphic font on your business card.
It is difficult to read and doesn’t memorize easily.
Get the opinion of your friends and relatives
Ask the opinion of people you trust their opinion. Very likely they will prevent you from serious mistakes and makes sure that the plan of your business card is the right one.
